Rooted in the traditional form of Usui Reiki it employs purity of intent & purity of focus as a means of raising the healing potential of Reiki to new levels. The essence of its work lies in the inner meaning of purity. This is by no means a simple lack of impurity, though this is naturally essential, but rather a positive energetic purity which seeks to build new energy levels on a platform of simple unfocused purity. In stage 1 we strive for simple purity, which may not have been fully realized in the western approach to Reiki. Full cleansing can probably only be achieved by two Reiki Masters working together until they are satisfied that each others’ chakras are fully cleansed & ready to receive higher levels of energy, a process which relies totally on the integrity of the masters involved. In stage 2 the chakras are again the centre of focus, but the emphasis is somewhat different from orthodox Reiki.
